MAGURA, April 28, 2022 (BSS) - Advocate Sifuzzaman Shikhor, MP, today distributed cheques worth about Taka two lakh from his discretionary fund among poor people ahead of Eid-UL-Fitr in the town.

On the occasion, a function was held at Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium in the district.

Former Lawmaker Kamrul Laila Jolly was present at the function as the chief guest with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Yasin Kabir in the chair.

Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Abu Nasir Bablu, Vice Chairman Sheikh Rezaur Rahman, Upazila AL President and Secretary Ashraful Alam Babul Fakir, Abdul Mannan, among others, were present.

A total of 91 poor people got the cheques in the function.
