SHERPUR, April 20, 2022 (BSS) - Two brothers were killed and another was injured in a road accident in Garergaon area under Nakla upazila of the district last night.

The deceased were identified as Harej Ali and Shamsul Haque, sons of late Omed Ali of Piprakanda village under Tarakanda upazila in Mymensingh district.

The accident took place when a locally made three-wheeler turned turtle in the area as its driver lost control over the vehicle, leaving its two passengers and driver injured, officer-in-charge (OC) of Nakla police station Mushfiqur Rahman said.

The injured were taken to Nakla Hospital. Later among the injured two brothers died on the way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, the OC added.
