JOYPURHATR, April 4, 2022 (BSS) - Some 150 poor and distressed families of Panchbibi upazila of the district today received food assistance during the holy month of Ramadan from the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.

    The Panchbibi upazila administration organised the distribution function of the foodstuffs at the Upazila Parishad auditorium this morning.

    Advocate Shamsul Alam Dudu, MP, of Joypurhat -1 constituency distributed the foodstuffs packed in a sac among beneficiary families as the chief guest with the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Barman Hossain in the chair.

     Each of the beneficiary families received rice, soybean oil, salt, lentil and sugar.

     President of Panchbibi Upazila Awami League Abu Bakar Siddique, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Panchbibi Police Station Palash Chandra Dev, among others, were present on the occasion.
