2,32,29,354 doses Covid-19 jabs administered in Rangpur

RANGPUR, March 20, 2022 (BSS) - A total of two crore 32 lakh 29 thousand and
354 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered till Saturday in the division
where the pandemic situation is improving during the last one month.
 
Health officials said the Covid-19 vaccination campaign continues with first,
second and third doses of jabs in all eight districts of the division.
 
Citizens are being vaccinated with five types of Covid-19 jabs from different
companies like Moderna, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer-BioNTech and Sinovac
across the division.
 
"Till Saturday, a total of 1,33,32,446 people got the first dose of Covid-19
jabs, and of them, 93,43,142 got the second doses and 5,53,766 got the
booster doses," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam told
BSS.
 
The first dose recipient 1,33,32,446 citizens include 39,29,846 vaccinated
with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 19,74,598 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs,
52,21,567 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,876 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs
and 20,74,559 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs.
 
The second dose recipient 93,43,142 citizens include 26,38,564 people
inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 16,02,768 with Pfizer Covid-19
jabs, 49,38,497 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,27,554 with Moderna Covid-19
jabs and 35,759 with Sinovac Covid-19 jabs.
 
"Besides, the 5,53,766 booster dose recipients include 5,17,286 vaccinated
with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 33,390 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 3,090
with Moderna Covid-19 jabs," Dr. Islam added.
