BHOLA, Feb 10, 2022 (BSS) – A total of 10 heifers were distributed among stressed fishermen in Borhanuddin upazila of the costal district today.

Ali Azam Mukul, MP, handed over the heifer in a function held in the Upazila Parishad premises this morning.

Upazila Parishad Chairman Abul Kalam Azad, District Fisheries Officer SM Azharul Islam, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Sifur Rahman and Vice Chairman Md Russel Mia were present.  

Upazila Fisheries Department organized the functionfor heifer distribution under Elish Development and Management Project.
