KHULNA, Feb 10, 2022 (BSS)-A mobile court today evicted 65 illegal establishments at Mongla Port Authority (MPA) area during its three hours drive.

The MPA led by its executive magistrate Shovon Sarker conducted the drive from 10am to 1pm and evicted 65 illegal establishments from the North side of newly built truck terminal of Mongla Pourashava, Bazua road, Bank road and Misti (Sweet) pond area, said Monirul Islam, Assistant Information Officer of MPA.

Officials of the police, Fire Service and Civil Defence, Mongla EPZ authority and Digraj Bazar Samity were present during the drive.

Monirul Islam said told BSS that the mobile court will continue its drives to recover its lands from the grabbers.

MPA have been preparing a list of illegal establishments in order to recover its lands from the grabbers.

Earlier, at least 25 illegal establishments were evicted from land grabbers, he added.
