MAGURA, Sept 11, 2026 (BSS) - The 48th founding anniversary of the Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal was celebrated here in the district today.

To mark the occasion, the district unit of Mohila Dal hosted a discussion at the Nomani Maidan Auditorium in Magura town.

Magura Mohila Dal president Urmi Kulsum presided over the programme.

Lawmaker Md. Monwar Hossain attended the programme as chief guest. Reserved-seat lawmaker Newaz Halima Arly and Magura district BNP Convenor and Zilla Parishad Administrator Ali Ahmed, among others, were present as special guests.

At the beginning of the discussion, special prayers were offered seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

Speakers at the discussion urged Mohila Dal leaders and activists to work unitedly to realize people's rights and for the welfare of the country and its citizens. 

Before the discussion, a colourful rally was brought out from Nomani Maidan. The rally paraded through important roads of the town and concluded at the same venue.
