Narail, January 30, 2022 (BSS) - The newly-elected 12 UP chairmen, 108 general members and thirty six members in women reserved seats of  Lohagara upazila  took oath yesterday.

Narail deputy commissioner Md. Habibur Rahman administered the oath to the elected UP chairmen and Lohagora upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Rochlina Parvin administered the oath to the elected general members and members in women reserved seats at a function at the conference room of  upazila parishad.

Narail district Awami League secretary and sadar upazila parishad chairman Nizam Uddin Khan Nilu, District Election Officer Md. Waliullah, Narail district Awami League adviser Golam Mortoza Swapon, Lohagara Upazila Parishad Chairman SM Abdul Hannan Runu, Lohagora Awami League president Munshi Alauddin, secretary and municipality Mayor Syed Mashiur Rahman and other officials were present in the oath-taking ceremony.

The deputy commissioner urged the newly-elected UP Chairmen and Members to render their services with the commitment of building the nation free from all sorts of curses like corruption, terrorism, extremism and drug-addiction.
