73,353 more get Covid-19 1st dose vaccine in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Jan 27, 2022 (BSS) – A total of  73,353 more citizens were inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today raising the number of the first dose recipients to 1,06,74,833 in Rangpur division.

“Among the 73,353 new first dose recipients, 58,990 were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 25 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs and 14,338 Pfizer Covid-19 jabs today,” said Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam at 7:45 pm.

The total first dose recipient 1,06,74,833 citizens include 37,08,759 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 51,86,564 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 16,47,661 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs.     

Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 63,80,023 with inoculation of more 51,974 people with the second dose of the jabs today in the division.

Among the 51,974 second dose recipient citizens, 25,726 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 13,659 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 12,479 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs and 110 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs in the division today.   

The second dose recipient 63,80,023 citizens include 15,22,668 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 46,07,785 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,26,479 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 1,22,871 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.

Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine reached 1,47,206 people with the inoculation of 4,962 more citizens with the booster dose of the jabs today in the division.

“The 1,47,206 booster dose recipients include 1,42,766 vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs and 4,440 Pfizer Covid-19 jabs,” Dr. Islam added.
