RAJSHAHI, June 11, 2026 (BSS) - IGP Scholarships have been awarded to 
outstanding students who achieved GPA-5 in the SSC and HSC 2025 examinations 
at Shaheed Mamun Mahmud Police Lines School and College in Rajshahi.
 
The scholarship distribution ceremony was organized by the Bangladesh Retired 
Police Officers Welfare Association today. 

The event was attended by Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Commissioner 
Mohammad Faizul Kabir as the chief guest, while the institution's Acting 
Principal, Mohammad Yakub Ali, chaired it

At the ceremony, IGP Scholarships were awarded to the 20 highest-scoring 
meritorious students among those who secured GPA-5 in the SSC and HSC 2025 
examinations. 

In addition, students who earned Talentpool Scholarships in the eighth grade 
received cash awards, crests, and certificates. 

Among others, Mohammad Khorshed Alam, Deputy Police Commissioner 
(Headquarters), Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Police Commissioner 
(Force), Gaziur Rahman, Deputy Police Commissioner (Crime and CTTC), along 
with senior RMP officials and teachers of the institution were present at the 
event.
