RANGPUR, Jan 16, 2022 (BSS) – Some 1,43,261 more citizens were inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today raising the total number of the first dose recipients to 95,00,034 in Rangpur division.
“Among the 1,43,261 new first dose recipients, 41,088 were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 428 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs and 1,01,745 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs today,” said Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam at 9:30 pm.
The total first dose recipient 95,00,034 citizens include 31,51,300 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 51,86,396 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 10,30,489 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs.
Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 59,73,735 with inoculation of more 27,559 people with the second dose of the jabs today in the division.
Among the 27,559 second dose recipient citizens, 11m324 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 14m612 with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 1m623 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine in the division today.
The second dose recipient 59,73,735 citizens include 13,33,827 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 44,43,668 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,25,779 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 70,461 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine reached 78,599 people with the inoculation of 13,735 more citizens with the booster dose of the jabs today in the division.
“The 78,599 booster dose recipients include 74,650 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs and 3,949 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs,” Dr. Islam added.
