BAGERHAT, May 20, 2026 (BSS) - A seminar on Application and Expansion of Sustainable Technology was held in Rampal of the district. 

Upazila Executive Officer Tamanna Ferdousi presided over the seminar and exhibition titled 'Application and Expansion of Locally Invented Sustainable Technology' at the Upazila Auditorium today.

The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and implemented by the Rampal Upazila Administration and Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR). 

Nasim Ahmed, Scientific Officer of IERD and BCSIR, delivered the keynote address. 

At the venue, technologically innovative devices of 10 different government, private educational institutions and NGO organizations were displayed; agricultural products, handicrafts, biogas plants, solar power and various technological innovations were also showcased.
