MYMENSINGH, Jan 15, 2022 (BSS) - A lorry crushed two women at Dhopaghat in Gafargaon upazila of the district this afternoon.

   The deceased were identified as Majeda Khatun, 55, hailed from Pukhuria village and Bakula Begum, 45, an inhabitant at Charkamaria Vatipara in the upazila.

   Police said the accident occurred in front of Dhopaghat Govt Primary School while the women were downing from an auto rickshaw. Majeda Khatun died on the spot while Bakula Begum succumbed to her injuries on the way to Bhaluka Upazila Health Complex.

   Officer-in-Charge of Gafargaon Thana Faruk Ahmed said they seized the lorry.
