KHULNA, May 19, 2026 (BSS) – A three-day divisional science fair marking the 47th National Science and Technology Week, alongside the 10th Science Olympiad, science seminar and quiz competition, will begin in Khulna on May 22.

The programmes will be held from May 22 to 24 at the auditorium of the Divisional Commissioner’s Office.

According to the schedule, the inauguration of the 47th National Science and Technology Week and science fair will take place at 10 am on May 22.

A written science quiz competition will follow at 11:30am, while the final quiz contest will begin at 2:30 pm. Results and prize distribution are scheduled for 3:30 pm, followed by a telescope exhibition at 4 pm.

On May 23, the written examination for the Science Olympiad will begin at 10:30 am.

An open discussion and question-answer session will be held at 2:30 pm, followed by publication of results and prize distribution at 3:30 pm. A 4-D movie bus exhibition will also be arranged later in the day.

On the final day, May 24, a seminar titled “Science and Technology for Building an Innovation-driven Bangladesh” will be held at 10 am.
