JAMALPUR, May 19, 2026 (BSS)-  Three-day Land Service Fair began at Assistant Commissioner (AC) land Office premises in the town this morning.

Local law maker Advocate Shah Md Wares Ali Mamun inaugurated the fair as chief guest.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Land, the District Administration arranged the fair.

Mamun  in his speech said the  present government is sincerely working to remove Land related complications. He said we want to reach the land service at the door step of general people.

He directed the concerned officials to work sincerely to make the land system transparent and accessible to common people.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yusuf Ali presided over the inaugural meeting while AC(Land) Jamalpur Sadar Upazila Md Tanvir Haider conducted it.

Additional Superintendent of Police, Mursheda Khatun, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rev),Sumi Aktar and UNO, Jamalpur Sadar , Naznin Aktar spoke at the meeting.

Earlier a rally led by Advocate Shah Md Wares Ali Mamun, MP, was brought out from Foujdari intersection area in the town. The rally after parading the main roads ended at AC Land office premises.
