GAZIPUR, May 14, 2026 (BSS) - Two youths were tragically killed after being run over by a train while attempting to record a TikTok video at Dhirashram Railway Station in Sadar upazila here last night.

Joydebpur Railway Police Outpost in-charge Mohammad Qayum Ali confirmed the matter this morning saying the identities of the deceased could not be known.

According to local sources, the aesthetically designed railway station has become a popular spot for young people to shoot TikTok videos. The two youths were reportedly standing on the railway tracks while recording around 9.15 pm. At that moment, the high-speed Teesta Express train, coming from Dewanganj to Dhaka, struck them, killing both on the spot.

Railway police arrived at the scene, recovered the bodies, and sent them to the morgue for autopsy.
