FENI, May 14, 2026 (BSS) - Members of Feni Battalion (4 BGB) seized a large quantity of smuggled goods, including cannabis and various Indian products, during anti-smuggling operations conducted along the border areas of Feni district on Tuesday.
According to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), special patrol teams from Ketranga, Tarakucha, Debpur, and Champaknagar Border Outposts (BOPs) carried out separate drives in the border regions of Fulgazi, Porshuram, and Chhagalnaiya upazilas based on confidential information.
During the drives, BGB personnel recovered cannabis, Indian sarees, three-piece dresses, biscuits, chocolates, and a CNG-run vehicle used in smuggling activities.
The estimated market value of the seized items is approximately Tk 4,883,220.
