BAGERHAT, May 13, 2026 (BSS) – The new committee of the Bagerhat district unit of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of BNP, got approval from the central committee after a long eight years. 

On Tuesday (May 12) night, Central JCD President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir gave the approval. 

Atiqur Rahman Russell and Niyamul Kabir Rahul have been made president and general secretary while Sheikh Al Mamun has been made the organizing secretary.

Other leaders of the committee are Senior Vice President: Shamim Sikder, Vice Presidents: Sheikh Maidul Islam Mintu and Rana Didar, Senior Joint General Secretary: Fakir Mohammad Habibullah Wahed Habib, Joint General Secretary: Sheikh Fahim Shahriar Rabbi. 

 The central JCD has directed the new committee to form a full committee within the next 30 days.
