CHATTOGRAM, May 5, 2026 (BSS) – Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested a top terrorist in the Bakalia area of the port city.

The arrested individual, identified as Satter Shah alias Deepzol, 47, is accused in 22 cases, including arms, robbery, murder, Special Powers Act, and drug-related offenses, according to Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Aftab Uddin of Kotwali Police Station.

Satter Shah was arrested in a special operation conducted by Kotwali Police Station based on a tip-off. He was found with country-made weapons during a police raid in Tulatoli Jamai Bazar area in Baklia Police Station on Monday night. 

Following his arrest, Satter Shah was presented in court for a murder case registered at Kotwali Police Station.
