NARAYANGANJ, May 5, 2026 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has launched a massive drive to arrest those involved in the attack on its members at Masdair (Boalia Khal) area under Fatullah Police Station of the district. 

The attack was carried out on the RAB personnel around 12:30 pm today while they were collecting intelligence information about drug trafficking in Masdair (Boalia Khal) area, according to a RAB press release. 

Three RAB members suffered injuries in the attack. They are now on medical observation after taking first aid at the hospital.  

Multiple teams are conducting coordinated raids in and around the area, using intelligence inputs to identify and locate the main suspects and others linked to the attack and local drug network. 

Checkpoints have been set up, and surveillance has been strengthened to prevent the suspects from fleeing.

RAB reiterated that all individuals involved in the assault on its personnel will be brought under the law, warning that no one will be spared. 

The force also confirmed that its anti-narcotics operations in the area will continue with increased intensity.
