RAJSHAHI, May 5, 2026 (BSS) - Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has adopted a special 10-day action plan to alleviate waterlogging in the city during the upcoming monsoon season.

As part of this initiative, RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton conducted an on-site inspection and supervision of drain cleaning activities using a large excavator in Terokhadia area adjacent to Shaheed Colonel Zahid Gate of Rajshahi Cantonment on Monday afternoon.

During this time, he instructed the concerned officials to complete the work quickly and effectively so that city residents can remain free from the suffering of waterlogging during the monsoon season.
 
RCC Chief Executive Officer Rezaul Karim, Secretary Sohel Rana, Chief Conservancy Officer Sheikh Md. Mamun Dollar, and Superintending Engineer Ahmad Al Moin Parag, among others, were present.
