RAJSHAHI, March 24, 2026 (BSS)- Administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC), Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, has instructed officials and employees to properly carry out their responsibilities to ensure citizen services. 

On Tuesday morning, he exchanged Eid-ul-Fitr greetings with officers and staff at the City Bhaban and gave these directives while inspecting the activities of various departments and sections.
 
He said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman goes to the office before 9 a.m. and is working tirelessly for the welfare of the country’s people. 
He urged everyone to come to the office on time and work sincerely to ensure citizen services.
 
The RCC Administrator said that the City Corporation is an institution for public service, where there is no political identity. 
“You are all state employees. I want to work together with everyone. We will build Rajshahi into a modern, clean, livable, and well-planned city. I seek your full cooperation in this effort.”
 
He further stated that uninterrupted citizen services must be ensured. If anyone causes disruption in service delivery, appropriate action will be taken against them.
 
The Administrator arrived at the City Bhaban at 8:45 am. He then, along with officials, inspected offices from the 1st to the 10th floor, including the Chief Executive Officer’s office, Secretary’s office, Chief Engineer’s office, Secretariat division, Accounts division, Revenue division, Engineering division, Health division, Cleaning division, and other sections, and provided various directives to ensure citizen services. 

During the inspection, Chief Executive Officer Md. Rezaul Karim, Secretary Sohel Rana, Superintending Engineer Khairul Baker, Chief Conservancy Officer Sheikh Md. Mamun, Chief Health Officer Dr. F.A.M. Anjuman Ara Begum, Chief Revenue Officer Abu Saleh Md. Nur-e-Saeed, Budget and Accounts Officer Shafiqul Islam Khan, among others, were present.
