BAGERHAT, March 22, 2026 (BSS) -  Bagerhat Officers Forum held a colorful Eid reunion programme on the premises of the Parjatan Motel, Khanjahan Ali Dargah today. 

Bagerhat District Council Administrator Barrister Md. Zakir Hossain, Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner Golam Md. Baten and Superintendent of Police Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury,  Forum’s Chief Advisor ex- secretary Mohammad Mashiur Rahman and its General Secretary (Joint Secretary and Director of BRTA Md. Zakir Hossain spoke at the event which was moderated by Forum treasurer (RAJUK Member-Joint Secretary) Eradul Haque. 

Bagerhat District Council Administrator Barrister Md. Zakir Hossain emphasized on taking effective steps to develop tourism industry in the district and called on everyone to work together to keep Bagerhat free from drugs, fundamentalism and militancy. 

Former ambassador and secretary Sheikh Sekendar Ali, former district and sessions judge Md. Ikhtiar Islam Mallick, Principal of Government BL College Professor Saiful Islam, Principal of Pirojpur Government Women's College Professor Sheikh Rafiqul Islam, Superintendent of Police Molla Azad Hossain, Major (retd.) Md. Moniruzzaman, PP Advocate of ACC Sheikh Nazrul Islam Kajal and other dignitaries from different levels also spoke at the event. 

At the beginning of the reunion, special prayer for the speedy recovery of Forum President Dr. Mohammad Faridul Islam (ex-secretary) who is in Thailand for medical reasons.
