LAKSHMIPUR, Mar 19, 2026 (BSS)- Following Saudi Arabia, Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed tomorrow (Friday) in 11 villages of Lakshmipur.

Several thousand Muslims from villages including Noagaon, Joypura, Bigha, Hotatia, Shorshoi and Kanchanpur in Ramganj upazila, Kalakopa in Raipur upazila, and Bashikpur in Sadar upazila will offer Eid prayers tomorrow.

A number of small congregations are scheduled to be held at 8:00 am at various locations including Khanqah-e Madania Kassemia Madrasa in Ramganj upazila and the southeastern Noagaon Eidgah field near Noagaon Bazar. Maulana Ruhul Amin will lead the prayer at Khanqah-e Madania Kassemia Madrasa.

Muslims from these villages will perform Eid prayers separately in their respective Eidgah grounds.

Followers of Maulana Ishaq (RA) are observing all religious festivals including Eid keeping timeline with the Holy lands of Makkah and Madinah for the past 41 years.
