BANDARBAN, March 19, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Army has distributed Eid essentials among underprivileged families in the district in observance of the Holy month of Ramadan.

The distribution programme was held on Thursday morning at the training ground of the 69th Infantry Brigade, under the initiative of the Bandarban Army Region.

More than 100 needy and helpless families from different areas of the district received essential food items, including rice, chicken, semai, powdered milk, sugar, soybean oil, onions and potatoes.

Major Parvez Rahman, G2I of the Bandarban Army Region, attended the event and handed over the Eid essentials to the beneficiaries.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the Army will continue such social and humanitarian initiatives in the future to support the welfare of people in Bandarban.
