RAJSHAHI, March 11, 2026 (BSS) - Police arrested two alleged drug dealers with 305 yaba tablets during an operation in Charghat upazila of Rajshahi district.

A team of the Detective Branch (DB) of the district police conducted the drive in Naodara Muktarpur village of the upazila on Tuesday evening.

The arrested are Md Shakil, 31, a resident of Jhikra Jowardarpara village in Charghat, and Raju Ahmed, 42, from Shimulia village.

Additional Superintendent of Police Sabina Yasmin, also spokesperson of the district police and an officer of the Special Branch, confirmed the matter through a press release this morning.

She said the two arrested persons have several cases filed against them with different police stations in the district.

A case has also been filed against them with Charghat Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act over the seizure of the yaba tablets. They were sent to jail through a this morning.
