CHATTOGRAM, Mar 6, 2026 (BSS) - Chattogram city BNP organized an Iftar party to pray for the eternal peace of the departed souls of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and three-time Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. 

The event took place at the city’s Jamiutual Flah Maidan with city BNP President Earshadulla, MP in the chair. 

State Minister for Hill Tract Affairs Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin was the chief guest at the function. During his speech, Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin encouraged people from all walks of life to contribute to the development of Chattogram.

The function was attended by BNP leader Abu Sufian MP, city BNP General Secretary Nazimur Rahman, and CMP commissioner Hasib Aziz, among others. 

A special prayer was held seeking eternal peace for the departed souls of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and three-time Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
