According to the release, the operations were carried out based on specific

Border Outposts (BOPs) conducted raids on March 5, followed by a subsequent
operation by the Sheoratala BOP on March 6.

The BGB reported that the majority of the seized items, including Indian

state from areas adjacent to the border.

The inventory of the seized contraband includes 9,390 pieces of Indian
Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride tablets, 9,870 pieces of Indian Dexamethasone
tablets, 480 packets of Bidi, 20 bottles of liquor, 145 bottles of Phensedyl
and 10-kg of Ganja.

Regarding legal proceedings, the BGB stated that the process of filing a

The seized Ganja has already been handed over to the Daulatpur Police
Station. The remaining items are being deposited in the battalion's seizure
store and will be processed for eventual destruction by the relevant
authorities in accordance with standing regulations.

The BGB reiterated its strict position against all forms of smuggling and
