RAJSHAHI, Jan 1, 2022 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH)
recorded zero fatality in its Covid-19 unit in the last 24 hours till 6am for
the second consecutive day today.  

     RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani told newsmen that the
hospital also recorded zero deaths on Thursday and a couple of days in last
month.  

     Meanwhile, five more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during
the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 27, including
seven tested positive for Covid-19, at present.  

     Two other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.  

     On the other hand, another more patient was found Covid-19 positive
after testing 188 samples in Rajshahi Medical College laboratory on Friday,
showing a 3.33 percent infection rate.
