NAOGAON, Jan 7, 2026 (BSS) - A doa mahfil was held here today seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

The programme was organised in the afternoon at a restaurant and community centre in the district town by BNP-nominated candidate for the Naogaon-5 (Sadar) constituency Jahidul Islam Dhalu.

The district BNP Organising Secretary Shafiul Azam Rana, Baktarpur Union Parishad Chairman of Sadar Upazila Sarwar Kamal Chanchal, Jubo Dal Member Secretary Ruhun Amin Muktar, Municipal Ward No. 8 BNP General Secretary Mizanur Rahman, JASAS President Babu, and leaders and activists from various levels of the party were present.
