RAJSHAHI, Dec 22, 2021 (BSS) - Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) recorded two more deaths in its Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours till 6am today.

  RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said one of the deceased was a resident of Rajshahi, while another from Natore. The duo died with Covid-19 symptoms.

   Meanwhile, sixtwo more patients were admitted to the Covid-19 unit during the last 24 hours, taking the number of admitted patients to 23, including four tested positive for Covid-19, at present.

  On the other hand, eight more patients were found Covid-19 positive after testing 271 samples in Rajshahi's laboratory on Tuesday, showing a 0.96 percent infection rate in Rajshahi, while 4.76 percent in Joypurhat and 3.70 percent in Bogura.
