NARSINGDI, Jan 5, 2026 (BSS) - The district unit of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) on Monday organized a doa mahfil seeking forgiveness for the departed soul of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

The doa mahfil was held in the seminar room of Narsingdi District Hospital in the afternoon.

District DAB President Dr. MSS Hasar Al Jamir presided over the programme  while Civil Surgeon Syed Amirul Haque Shamim attended as the chief guest.

District DAB General Secretary Nuruullah Al Masud conducted the milad mahfil. 

DAB Vice President Dr. Abdullah Al Masud, Treasurer Dr. Pranab Kumar Saha, Organizing Secretary Dr. Abdur Razzak, Co-Organizing Secretary Dr. Rakibul Hasan, Co-Office Secretary Dr. Tariqul Sarkar, Women’s Affairs Secretary Dr. Shamim Jahan Nupur, and physicians Dr. Khorshed Alam and Dr. Asaduzzaman Sumon, among others,  attended the milad mahfil.
