KHULNA, Jan 4, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Central Student Affairs Secretary Rakibul Islam Bokul today said the party's 31-point agenda holds the key to building a youth-oriented and modern Bangladesh, as it reflects the aspirations of the younger generation and offers a roadmap for genuine development.
He made the remarks as chief guest while addressing a doa mahfil organised by BNP's Khalishpur Ward No. 12 unit this evening.
The programme was arranged seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
Bokul said that whenever BNP was in power, it worked sincerely for women's advancement and broader social reforms.
He recalled that Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman had played a historic role in making the country self-sufficient in food production and creating opportunities to export food abroad.
He also said BNP has consistently played a pioneering role in promoting Islam, ensuring due respect for religious scholars, and incorporating "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim" into the constitution.
Among others, Khulna City BNP Organising Secretary Sheikh Sadi and former joint convener Md Chowdhury Shafikul Hossain spoke as special guests.
Later, a special prayer was offered seeking forgiveness for the departed soul of Begum Khaleda Zia and welfare and prosperity of the country and the nation.
