Manikganj, Jan 4, 2026 (BSS) – After scrutiny, a total of 18 nomination papers for the upcoming 13th parliamentary election were found valid, Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Nazmun Ara Sultana said today.

According to sources at the Returning Officer’s Office, a total of 32 aspirants collected nomination papers for the 13th parliamentary election. Of them, 27 candidates submitted their nomination papers in all three constituencies of the district.

Nine nomination papers in the three constituencies in the district, including the former MP of Jatiya Party SM Abdul Mannan have been cancelled.
