KHULNA, Dec 9, 2025 (BSS) – BNP-nominated candidate for Khulna-2 constituency Nazrul Islam Manju has said BNP is synonymous with Bangladesh and democracy. 

“The spirit of the 1971 Liberation War was to build a Bangladesh for all. That is why Tarique Rahman’s slogan is ‘Bangladesh First.’ Upholding this slogan, BNP must overcome all conspiracies and lead the nation forward,” he said.

Nazrul Islam Manju made the remarks on Monday while addressing a doa mahfil and discussion organised by Ward 19 BNP at Pollimangal Shamsul Ulum Khademul Islam Madrasa, seeking the early recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. 

“BNP always stands with the people in establishing democracy, upholding their rights, and ensuring that the nation progresses through popular participation and accountable governance.” He said. 

Manju also attended two other doa mahfils, organised by Ward 30 and 22 units of local BNP.
