CHATTOGRAM, Oct 25, 2025 (BSS) - RAB-7 arrested two individuals accused in a robbery case through separate operations in Chattogram and Gazipur on Friday.

ARM Mozaffar Hossain, Assistant Director (Media) of RAB-7, said Md. Azad, 37, son of Shafiqul Islam of Alishah Fakirbari in Akbarshah Police Station, was found hiding in Pakairdeshi area under Gazipur Sadar Police Station. 

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team from RAB-7 and RAB-1 Gazipur raided the location around 8:30 pm and apprehended him.

In a separate operation, Md. Rubel, 39, son of Jebal Hossain from Chhota Chilonia area of Sunderpur union in Fatikchhari upazila, was arrested from Hathazari bus stand in Chattogram on Friday evening based on secret information.

Both suspects were handed over to the authorities of the respective police stations for further action.
