CHANDPUR, Oct 25, 2025 (BSS) - Police today arrested a man and seized 52 kilograms of ganja from Sokdirampur village in Faridganj upazila of the district.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the house of Khalilur Rahman, 60, and recovered 26 packets of ganja. 

His two sons, Alamin and Rubel, managed to flee during the raid.

Faridganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Shah Alam said a case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the others involved.
