CHATTOGRAM, Sept 28, 2025 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have 
apprehended the main suspect in the murder of Raju, who was fatally stabbed 
at the Double Mooring Police Station in the city in November, 2024, today.
 
Senior Assistant Director (Media) of RAB-7 ARM Mozaffar Hossain confirmed the 
arrest of Md. Arif, 30, son of Md. Islam from Akbarshah area, the northern 
part of the Chattogram Metropolitan. 

The arrest was made based on secret information that Md. Arif, the prime 
suspect in the murder, was hiding in the Khulshi Police Station area.

"He was apprehended at Tiger Pass intersection around 8:15 pm on Saturday," 
the RAB official said, adding that the suspect has been transferred to the 
Chattogram Railway Police Station for further legal proceedings.
