RAJBARI, Sept 23, 2025 (BSS) - A youth was killed in a road accident near Goalanda Nutan Bridge under Goalanda upazila of the district last night.

The deceased was Arafat Molla, 30, son of Abul Kalam Azad of Purba Tenapcha village under Devgram union of the upazila.

“The accident took place around 10 pm when two motorcycles collided head-on in the area, leaving bike rider Arafat injured critically”, said Abdullah Al Mamun, officer-in-Charge of Goalanda Police Station.

Arafat was taken to Goalanda Upazila Health Complex. Later, he died on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 3 am.

A case was filed in this connection.
