RANGPUR, Nov 29, 2021 (BSS) - Some 1,52,403 more citizens were inoculated with Covid-19 vaccine today raising the total number of the first dose jab recipients to 69,27,306 in Rangpur division.

     "Among 1,52,403 new first dose recipients, 1,00,728 were inoculated with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 48,818 with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab and 2,857 Pfizer Covid-19 jab today," said Acting Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam tonight.

     The total first dose recipient 69,27,306 citizens include 18,52,466 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 48,59,812 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 vaccine and 83,176 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.

    Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipient citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 38,52,124 with inoculation of more 32,179 people with the second dose of the jab today in the division.

     Among the 32,179 new second dose recipient citizens, 16,070 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 15,415 with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 694 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine in the division today.

     "The second dose recipient 38,52,124 citizens include 8,92,212 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 28,32,152 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 1,25,779 with Moderna Covid-19 jab and 1,981 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine," he added.
