RANGPUR, Nov 27, 2021 (BSS) - Some 90,659 more citizens were inoculated with Covid-19 vaccine today raising the total number of the first dose jab recipients to 67,34,907 in Rangpur division.

     "Among 90,659 new first dose recipients, 31,743 were inoculated with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 56,720 with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab and 2,196 Pfizer Covid-19 jab today," said Acting Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam tonight.

     The total first dose recipient 67,34,907 citizens include 18,20,490 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 46,94,682 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 vaccine and 87,886 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.

    Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipient citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 37,46,173 with inoculation of more 30,515 people with the second dose of the jab today in the division.

     Among the 30,515 new second dose recipient citizens, 17,784 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 12,631 with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 100 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine in the division today.

    "The second dose recipient 37,46,173 citizens include 8,21,902 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 27,97,736 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 1,25,779 with Moderna Covid-19 jab and 756 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine," he added.
