NARSINGDI, 15 June 2025 (BSS) - A teenage girl was killed and at least 10 
others were injured in a road accident on the Panchdona-Ghorashal regional 
highway in Sadar upazila here today.

The deceased was identified as Trisha Akhter, 13, daughter of Selim Mia, a 
resident of Bashgari area in Raipura upazila of the district.

The accident took place at noon at Chaksal crossing when a bus collided head-
on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and crashed into a microbus at the same spot, 
leaving one auto-rickshaw passenger dead on the spot and injuring 10 others, 
said Md Jewel Rana, sub-inspector of Madhabdi Police Station.

The injured were taken to Narsingdi District Hospital and Ghorashal Roushan 
General Private Hospital.
