KISHOREGANJ, June 2, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 12 physically-challenged people 
were given wheelchairs free of cost in Pakundia upazila of the district today 
aiming to make them self-reliant by easing their mobility difficulties.

Disability Services and Assistance Center under the Ministry of Social 
Welfare distributed the wheelchair this afternoon at a function at the 
upazila parishad premises.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Billal Hossain was present at the function 
as the chief guest.

District Disability Affairs Officer Mithun Chakraborty and Upazila Social 
Services Officer Md. Shahjahan were present, among others.
