  JOYPURHAT, June 1, 2025 (BSS) - The distribution of rice under Vulnerable Group Feeding (VGF) programme ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Azha has started in Joypur hat municipality.

     Deputy Commissioner Afroza Akhter Chowdhury inaugurated the distribution programme on the premises of Joypurhat Municipality this morning.

     Additional Deputy Commissioner and Joypurhat Municipality Administrator M Sabur Ali, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rashedul Islam, Municipality Executive Engineer and Acting Municipal Executive Officer Abu Zafar Md. Reza, Social Development Officer Md. Hasanuzzaman, Administrative Officer Abdul Hashem, Deputy Assistant Engineer Mizanur Rahman were present, among others.

     Each of the families received 10 kg of rice.
