RANGPUR, April 10, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested a suspected drug peddler with 593 pieces of Yaba tablets from Dohara Jabaripur High School premises under Bochaganj upazila of the district on Wednesday afternoon.

 
"Acting on a tip-off, an operational team of Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-2 of RAB-13 from Nilphamari camp searched the body of a person at the spot at 3:30 pm and arrested him with the contraband Yaba tablets," a press release said today. 
 

The arrested person has been identified as Md. Jewel, 32, son of Ismail Hossain of Atkora village under Ranisankail upazila. 

 
"After filing a case in this connection, the elite force handed over the arrestee along with the seized Yaba tablets to the Bochaganj police station in Dinajpur," the release further said.
