FARIDPUR, March 5, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 10 shops were gutted in a fire at 
Bana Bazar under Alfadanga upazila of the district last night.

The fire originated from an electric short-circuit of a shop and soon 
engulfed the adjacent shops, said Aslam Hossain, an official of Alfadanga 
Fire Service Station.

Being informed, firefighters from Alfadanga Fire Station rushed to the spot 
and doused the blaze with the help of locals and affected businessmen at 
midnight, he added.
