GAIBANDHA, Oct 28, 2021 (BSS) - A local non-government voluntary

organization has provided health protection materials and cash support to 450
flood and river erosion victims of Sadar upazila in the district.

   The SKS Foundation handed over the assistance to the victims of
Kamarjanui, Mollarchar and Gidari unions of the upazila under its Emergency
Flood Response programme-2021 with the financial support of donor
Organization-Save the Children.

   This was disclosed by senior project coordinator (SPC) SK Mamun in a
workshop held at the conference room of Sadar upazila administration of the
district on Wednesday.

   UNO Rafiul Alam attended the function as the chief guest and upazila
project implementation officer Anisur Rahman spoke as the special guest.

   Mamun said each of the beneficiaries received 8 pieces of cotton cloth, 10
pieces of hand washing soap, a kg of detergent powder, a piece of plastic
mug, 20 water purification tablets, a piece of quality bag.

   Apart from this, the beneficiaries also got TK 3000 each.
