RANGPUR, Oct 25, 2021 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-13) arrested two
alleged drug traders with 91 bottles of smuggled Phensedyl from Kadma village
upazila of Lalmonirhat district on Sunday night.

  "On a tip, an operation team of RAB-13 from its Rangpur battalion
headquarters conducted a raid in the aforesaid area and arrested the two men
with 91 bottles of contraband Phensedyl and a motorcycle from the spot," said
a press release issued here today.

   The arrested persons are Md Shahidul Islam Jitu, 33, and Md Mazidul Islam,
35, of Lalmonirhat district.

   During primary interrogation, the arrested persons confessed that they
have been involved in drug trading for long.

   After filing a case against the arrested persons in this connection, the
elite force handed them over to Hatibandha police station.
