JOYPURHAT, Oct 23, 2021 (BSS) - Law enforcers in separate drives

arrested 62 persons on charges of different cases from various areas of the
district in the last 24-hours ending at 11am today.

     Law enforcers also seized contraband Phensidyl, Yaba tablets and heroin
from their possession during the drives.

     Police are working on a zero tolerance policy to curb any crime in the
district, said Superintendent of Police (SP) Masum Ahmed Bhuiyan.

     Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending
with different police stations against the arrested persons.
