RANGPUR, Oct 14, 2021 (BSS) – The number of the first dose recipient

citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 42,93,943 with the inoculation of
30,375 more citizens with the first dose of the jab today in Rangpur
division.

“Among the 30,375 new first dose recipient citizens, 24,626 were
inoculated with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 5,749 others with
AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine today,” Divisional Director (Health) Dr
Md Motaharul Islam told BSS at 9 pm.

The total first dose recipient 42,93,943 citizens include 11,73,636
people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 29,88,458 people with
Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,31,849 others with Moderna Covid-19
vaccine.

Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine recipient
citizens rose to 18,61,864 with inoculation of more 16,208 people with
the second dose of the jab today in the division.

Among the 16,208 new second dose recipient citizens, 63 were
inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine and 16,145 others with
Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine today.

“The total second dose recipient 18,61,864 citizens include 5,41,782
people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 11,96,123 people with
Sinopharm Covid-19 jab and 1,23,959 others with Moderna Covid-19
vaccine in the division,” Dr Islam said.
